πŸ“± Today I had a meeting with Prime Minister Boris Johnson to discuss the Government’s levelling up agenda and how it will benefit constituencies like Ynys MΓ΄n.

πŸ—£οΈ I reiterated - as I do every time I meet with the PM - how important Wylfa Newydd is to Anglesey, the whole of North Wales and our goal of achieving our net zero carbon target by 2050. I also highlighted that the next few months will be pivotal; the DCO response is due at the end of September and the Energy White Paper is due to be published in Q4.

βœ… He committed to taking big, bold actions to help coastal communities like Ynys MΓ΄n. I also invited him to visit Anglesey where I assured him of a warm welcome!
