'Last month the digital marketing company Yell Business published a report which revealed that Llandudno is the start-up capital of the United Kingdom. During 2021, more businesses formed in the town per capita than anywhere else throughout the UK.
Yell Business' findings were of no surprises to me, or indeed anyone who is familiar with the entrepreneurial dynamism of Llandudno and all of our communities throughout Aberconwy.
Following the report’s publication I spoke in Parliament to pay tribute once again to our entrepreneurs. I also invited the Innovation Minister, George Freeman MP, to Llandudno to identify ways in which the UK Government can further support Llandudno’s transformation into an enterprise hub for North Wales and to bring new, high skilled jobs to Aberconwy.'
