Janet Finch-Saunders AM is calling for more recognition for the plight of our farmers. Speaking at the Eglwysbach show and at the Flint and Denbigh show Janet said " For too long our farmers have suffered whilst the return on milk prices have fallen to a ridiculously low price. It is absurd that a bottle of water or coca cola is more expensive than our fantastic local dairy produce. Our red meat industry is under strain as we see foreign imports in our supermarkets.
Its time to back our farmers by shopping and buying local produce.
